Yes, I was early for my own funeral.
So early that the undertaker took me aside
and informed me that I had not died.

About John Tomlinson

John lived all his life in Australia apart from brief overseas trips. He was an activist, an academic, a community worker and a writer. He was also a mad fisher for most of his life. Since the mid-1990s he has been a passionate advocate for replacing the existing income security system with a Basic Income. Prior to that he argued that the income security system needed to be underpinned by a guaranteed minimum income.
