Not far from the Southern side of the beach at San Sebastian you will find a small restaurant, Bouquet Jatetea. The address is Calle 5 Longrono near the intersection of Logrono Kalea and Vitoria-Gasteiz Kalea, San Sebastian, Donostia / Spain.
Five of us were looking for somewhere to have dinner, when we happened upon Bouquet Jatetea, a friendly looking place. Noting that suckling pig was one of their specialities. We asked the manager if that was a possibility for that day, our last night in Basque country.
We were informed that two days’ notice was normally required. She asked the chef, and was told there was no pig but we could have suckling lamb. Five nodding heads signally our agreement.
We returned to Bouquet Jatetea in time for some Calamari entre and eagerly awaited the arrival of the suckling lamb. It was brilliant and would suggest arranging a meal there if you find you have a couple of days in Donostia.
