“Pink sky at night – a shepherd’s delight”
the angels are dancing
but they’re all out of sight
politicians have answers
that will make us uptight
the people will struggle
to make it all right.
“Red sky in the morning – a shepherd’s warning”
the devil is singing
and the priest is contrite
church bells are ringing
the congregation polite
with sinners confessing
can God still be right?
