John has fished in Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, New South Wales, Tasmania, the ACT and New Zealand in both fresh and salt water. He has written articles for newspapers and fishing magazines. His unpublished book, You Should Have Been Here Yesterday
can be found in this section. He has fished the Swains, the Kimberley region, the Whitsundays, the Peron Islands and the area from Fraser Island to Brisbane. He’s fished rivers, lakes, beaches, bridges, piers as well as the offshore regions.
He reckons that there is nothing better than being in a safe anchorage with a glass of wine in your hand as the sun goes down and nothing scarier than riding out a rough sea at night. As the Gordon Lightfoot song says:
“Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours.”
